02.23.24 Whale Counts

What a day! Started off on our first trip with beautiful conditions and too many dolphin to count! we encountered multiple pods of common dolphin, with a small pod feeding, a mega pod traveling, and a nursery pod playing and learning. In the nursery pod we got to see some of the smallest newborn dolphin we had ever seen, as they practiced their jumps.
For our second trip, we made a real run for it. caught up with a large pod of common dolphin before going out far west in search of whales. Our search was not in vain as we finally got some looks at a now northbound Gray Whale on its way back up to Alaska. A truly wonderful day out on the water.
As always, you can book your trip here on our website or by calling us at 619-309-1680. We hope to see you soon!
