06.01.2025 AM Whale Watch Recap
The Legacy left the docks for the morning whale watching cruise with about 30 passengers. The skies were overcast with out coastal June Gloom that dissipated with the sun peeking out for a bit. Captain Sean steered us south and west looking for any surprises we could find. We did see a small pod of about 50 short-beaked common dolphins that were in the move. And the captain and the crew removed 2 very large birthday Mylar balloons from the water. Thank you Legacy crew for keeping the ocean clean! And thank you to the San Diego Natural History Museum volunteers that were able to connect and share information to all on board.
