7.5.2025 AM and PM Whale Watch

We had a great day out on the water aboard the Legacy, with calm seas and clear skies setting the tone for a memorable trip. While we didn’t encounter any whales on this outing, we were treated to several exciting sightings of common dolphins. A few pods came close to the boat, offering fantastic views and photo opportunities. Their playful behavior and fast swimming alongside the vessel delighted everyone on board. Overall, it was a refreshing and enjoyable experience on the ocean with some beautiful dolphin encounters.

Sat., July 5, afternoon
The weather was a perfect San Diego summer day as we headed out to the ocean under blue skies and sunshine. We spotted lots of birds diving and were hopeful that some ocean mammals might get in on the action. But nothing was spotted until we came across a large Mola Mola, sunning itself on the surface. Passengers appreciated all the good information and seeing the biofacts from the Museum and are looking forward to a return trip.
