11.1.2025 Full Day Whale Watch/Bird

What an incredible day on the Legacy! Early on, we were treated to an unforgettable spectacle! a group of humpback whales feeding beneath a tornado of birds, including gulls, pelicans, jaegers, and more. The energy on the water was electric as whales surfaced among the swirling flocks.

Afterward, we ventured farther west and were rewarded with sightings of three majestic fin whales. A quiet stretch in the afternoon gave us time to take in the scenery before the day picked up again with a lively group of Risso’s dolphins always a joy to see!

Among the many seabird highlights were a Flesh-footed Shearwater and a pair of Cocos Boobies, both fan favorites that delighted everyone onboard.

All in all, it was an amazing day packed with whales, dolphins, and seabirds a perfect example of why we love exploring the open ocean!
