11.5.2025 AM Whale Watch

The ocean was calm as we set out aboard the Legacy, the air filled with excitement and the promise of adventure. It wasn’t long before someone spotted the telltale ripple of a whale’s dive, and there it was—a humpback whale, majestic and powerful, disappearing into the deep. For about six minutes at a time, it vanished beneath the waves, leaving us all waiting in hushed anticipation. The deck grew quiet except for the sound of the sea and the click of cameras poised for the next moment. Then, suddenly, it came—the deep, resonant whoosh of the whale’s blow breaking the silence. Gasps and smiles spread across the boat as the great creature surfaced once more, mist glinting in the sunlight. Each dive and resurfacing felt like a conversation between ocean and sky, and by the time the whale slipped away for the last time, everyone aboard the Legacy knew they had witnessed something truly special.
