2.14.2026 AM and PM Whale Watch

Our recent whale watching trips aboard the Legacy Whale Watching were nothing short of extraordinary. Just a few miles outside Mission Bay, we encountered even more gray whales than expected, all making their incredible journey south to Baja California. On both outings, we had plenty of uninterrupted time with these gentle giants. Watching the gray whales glide just beneath the surface almost glowing in the filtered sunlight was mesmerizing. Then, as they rose gracefully for a breath, the moment felt suspended in time. There’s something impossible to fully put into words about witnessing such powerful, ancient creatures moving freely through their ocean home. Seeing life unfold right in front of you—so close, so alive creates a feeling of awe and connection that stays with you long after returning to shore.
