2.24.2026 PM Whale Watch

On this outing aboard the Legacy Whale Watching, the day began with a long search, but our persistence was rewarded when we finally spotted a lively group of common dolphins. They leapt and surfed in the boat’s wake, bringing smiles and excitement to everyone on board. After enjoying the dolphins, we turned back toward the harbor with hopes of spotting a gray whale. The crew was scanning intently, determined not to miss a single sign of life. After what felt like forever, our patience paid off we located a gray whale, moving gracefully through the water and doing exactly what whales do best. Spout! It was a classic day of ocean surprises: the playful energy of dolphins followed by the calm majesty of a gray whale, showcasing the incredible diversity of life just offshore.
