6/27/25 PM whale trip young gray whales and plenty of common dolphins

On our latest trip aboard the Legacy, we had the special treat of seeing two young gray whales heading north—a bit later than the typical migration timeline, making their appearance all the more exciting. They stayed near the surface long enough for everyone to enjoy some great views.

Later in the trip, we encountered a large pod of common dolphins, who dazzled us with their playful leaps and energetic surfing alongside the boat. Their enthusiasm and numbers brought extra excitement to an already memorable day on the water.
