7.25.2025 AM Whale Watch

Our recent whale watching trip was a reminder that nature is always in control—especially when it comes to the weather. Despite forecasts, the wind picked up and the ocean grew choppy, making it difficult to spot marine life. Conditions were far from ideal, but that’s part of the unpredictability that comes with being out on the open sea. Still, our patience was rewarded: we encountered two separate pods of common dolphins. The first pod surfaced briefly near the boat, their sleek bodies slicing through the waves, while the second appeared later, energetically leaping through the swells. Even with the wind and rough seas, moments like these remind us that nature often surprises us when we least expect it.
