7.25.2025 PM Whale Watch

Today’s trip aboard the Legacy offered a brief but exciting glimpse of ocean life. Early in the outing, a quick flash of common dolphins broke the surface before they dove deep and vanished from sight, leaving us with just a fleeting encounter. As we continued, tern birds were actively picking at the surface around a kelp paddy, but the only fish spotted beneath were yellowtail, with no signs of larger marine mammals returning. Despite the quiet waters, the crisp ocean air and signs of life beneath the surface made for a peaceful day on the water.
