8.28.2025 AM Whale Watch

Our adventure aboard the Legacy was a memorable journey across open waters, filled with excitement and the promise of marine wildlife encounters. Early into the trip, we were thrilled to spot a lively pod of common dolphins gracefully riding the waves and occasionally leaping near the bow — a breathtaking display of nature’s energy and beauty.

While we didn’t spot any whales firsthand, there were exciting rumors circulating among the crew and other vessels in the area about recent sightings of elusive minke whales nearby. With binoculars at the ready and eyes scanning the horizon, the possibility of encountering one kept the atmosphere buzzing with anticipation.

Though the minkes stayed hidden, the dolphins more than made up for it, reminding us of the wild wonder that always awaits just beneath the surface.
