9.7.2025 Bird Watch

Our recent trip aboard the Legacy was nothing short of unforgettable! From start to finish, we were treated to an incredible array of seabirds and marine life. Highlights included close sightings of Jaegers, phalaropes, surf birds, and many other remarkable species, offering fantastic views for both seasoned birders and first-time observers.

The true highlight of the day, however, came when we encountered a sperm whale up close! an awe inspiring and rare sighting that marked a first ever for many on board. To witness such a majestic creature in its natural habitat was a powerful and emotional moment, truly a once in a lifetime experience for all.

Between the rich bird diversity and the unforgettable whale encounter, this trip will be remembered as one of the most exciting and special journeys we’ve had on the Legacy.
