7.16.2025 AM and PM Whale Watch

Today’s trips aboard The Legacy was full of life on the water! We encountered multiple large pods of common dolphins (Delphinus delphis), estimated in the hundreds, as they raced alongside the boat, bow-rode, and leapt through the waves—an incredible display of energy and coordination.

The ocean was also alive with bird activity. We observed a wide variety of seabirds, including shearwaters, gulls, pelicans, and more, all feeding and soaring above the dolphin pods, taking full advantage of the rich conditions offshore.
