8.18.2025 AM Whale Watch

On a memorable late summer morning aboard the Legacy, we were treated to a truly spectacular wildlife encounter. In a single, concentrated area, we observed an incredible feeding event featuring Common Dolphins, a Minke Whale, and a Gray Whale all foraging together. The dolphins moved swiftly in coordinated groups, while the Minke Whale surfaced with smooth, arcing motions nearby. Most impressively, the Gray Whale lingered in the same area, giving us prolonged and close up views as it fed. Witnessing this multi species activity so late in the season made the experience even more special! A rare and unforgettable highlight of the summer.
