Dolphins, Whales, and Sunny Skies

On this bright and beautiful day on the water, we were greeted by sunny skies and flat blue water. Our journey out started slow, but we found life in the deep water distance in the form of brown pelicans, gulls, and elegant terns. Following the bird life lead us to a lively pod of long beaked common dolphins feeding on a baitball, and to top it off, a pair of minke whales in the middle of it all! The whales and dolphins were feeding together, but gave us some close looks as they surfaced to breathe in the sunshine.
