9.13.2025 AM, PM, and Sunset Whale Watch

Today’s whale watch aboard the Legacy turned into an unforgettable event as we witnessed an incredibly rare sight two sperm whales surfacing just offshore! These massive, elusive giants had been spotted in the area a few days ago, and many believed they had already moved on. But to everyone’s amazement, they returned and right in view of our evening cruise.

Word of the sighting spread quickly, and scientists and marine biologists rushed to join the trip, hoping for a glimpse of these deep-diving legends. Their excitement was rewarded, as both whales surfaced calmly, giving us all a chance to observe their unmistakable square heads, wrinkled skin, and powerful exhalations. The atmosphere on board was electric! A mix of awe, joy, and disbelief as cameras clicked and binoculars scanned every movement.

Moments like these are what make whale watching so magical. Just when you think nature has moved on, it offers up a rare and breathtaking surprise. This was a day none of us will ever forget.
