2.21.2026 AM Whale Watch
Our recent outing aboard the Legacy Whale Watching marked an exciting turning point in the season. We encountered three northbound gray whales, a clear sign that the northern migration has officially begun. Seeing these whales heading back up the coast always brings a renewed sense of energy to the water. What makes this time of year especially exciting is that we’re still spotting southbound gray whales daily. With whales traveling in both directions, our chances of finding multiple animals on a single trip only get better. It creates a dynamic scene offshore, with migration activity all around us. Adding to the excitement, we also came across a pod of common dolphins always a thrilling sight as they race alongside the boat and bring smiles to everyone on board. With beautiful spring weather on the horizon and migration in full swing, we’re lining up for what promises to be an incredible season filled with even more unforgettable wildlife encounters.
