2.21.2026 PM Whale Watch
Our latest adventure aboard the Legacy Whale Watching brought another exciting day on the water. Not too far from home, we came across a southbound gray whale continuing its steady journey along the coast a great reminder that the migration is still active in both directions. With northbound whales steadily beginning to pass through, we decided to venture farther in search of them and our efforts paid off. We were rewarded with sightings of northbound gray whales just at the start of their long northern migration. Watching them move with purpose, knowing they have an incredible journey ahead toward Alaska and beyond, adds a whole new layer of appreciation to the encounter. There’s something inspiring about witnessing these early northbound travelers, embarking on one of nature’s most remarkable migrations. Each sighting feels like a glimpse into a much larger story unfolding along our coastline.
