6.30.2025 AM Whale Watch
On our recent whale watch adventure aboard the Legacy, we were treated to an unforgettable experience on the open ocean. Early in the trip, we spotted a fast-moving fin whale, slicing through the waves with incredible speed as it disappeared toward the horizon — a powerful reminder of the vastness and energy of these magnificent creatures.
Later, we encountered a large pod of common dolphins, their playful behavior and synchronized swimming providing an incredible show. They surrounded the boat, riding the bow and surfing the wake, much to the delight of everyone on board.
It was a thrilling day at sea, filled with awe-inspiring moments and lasting memories of the incredible marine life just off our coast.

Monday June 30 AM Trip
After spotting several different active pods of common dolphin, we came across the prize sight of the trip: a majestic fin whale. This whale was very active, lunging and splashing at the surface as it was also actively swimming north at speeds between 10-15 mph. The boat cruised along with this whale for a good hour, delighting the guests with its energetic feeding behavior.
