9.9.2025 AM Whale Watch

On our exciting trip aboard the Legacy, we were treated to an incredible display of ocean wildlife in action. The highlight of the day was spotting a sleek minke whale, surfacing gracefully near the boat as it joined in on a massive feeding frenzy. Surrounding the whale were pods of common dolphins, darting through the water and working together to herd huge bait balls of anchovies into tight clusters.

Above the action, the sky was alive with activity as seabirds of all kinds gulls, pelicans, shearwaters, and more—dived and swooped in to snatch the helpless anchovies from the surface. The water churned with energy, the sounds of dolphins exhaling, birds crying, and fish splashing creating an unforgettable sensory experience.

It was a stunning reminder of the interconnectedness of marine life and the power of nature when predators converge. A truly unforgettable day on the water!
