12.17.23 Whale Counts

They just keep getting better! Started todays trip by heading up north to yet again get some looks at our juvenile Gray whale that has been spending some time off the coast of La Jolla. We were not disappointed as this whale decided to come over to the boat, and got very curious!

Afterwards we were incredibly lucky, as we got to see over 50+ Rissos dolphins! By far the largest pod we had ever seen of these really interesting dolphin. what a day, and its looking really good for the next few days.
