4.16.26 AM and PM Whale

It was a beautiful sunny day out on the water. On our morning trip we found a large pod of hundreds of long-beaked common dolphins celebrating their breakfast! It seemed like the baby dolphins were taking acrobatic lessons and we got to hangout with them as they showed off riding the bow and jumping in the wake. The ocean was filled with dolphins, birds, harbor seals and sea lions. On our way back in we got a quick glimpse of our inshore bottlenose dolphin pod.

The weather held out for our PM trip and the sun and cool breeze added to our awesome day. We relocated that large pod of common dolphins from this morning and they were still leaping out of the water showing off their moves. We were lucky enough to get couple looks at a Minke whale on our way back in to shore to end our day.
